The BSAMCC of NSW inc, on behalf of the combined Australian BSA clubs is hosting the 6th annual BSA National Rally and takes pleasure in inviting all BSA owners and enthusiasts to this event.

This is a very significant year for BSA owners, 2010 being the centenary of the production of motorcycles at Small Heath so come along and take advantage of being able to meet & mix with the largest and most diverse group of BSA riders from all over Australia, right here in the beautiful Hunter region.

The rally occurs over 3 days and there will be rides each day with back up trailers & a bus available Saturday ( for a gold coin fuel donation) for non riders & brekdowns. The highlight of the event is the Concours D`etat in the Gaol which happens immediately after the Saturday ride with trophies presented at the Saturday night dinner which is also held in the gaol.

As this is a BSA specific event we are able to offer a total of 20 trophies so all models from 1910 to 1973 are covered . Also the perpetual NRMA Cup for best BSA at The National Rally will be awarded so why not come along and become a part of Australian BSA history.

Each entrant is entitled to exhibit 3 bikes and the actual judging classes will be determined according to what Beesas the participants list on their pre paid entry forms. A minium of 3 bikes will be required for a particular model or model type to be an eligible trophy class for judging.

Camping & van sites will be at Maitland No 2 sports ground Odd St Maitland which is the rally HQ . There will be on site catering for breakfasts ( Saturday , Sunday & Monday ) and dinner Sunday. Lunch Saturday will be on the run so all you need to bring is your tent & your beautiful beesa.

All runs will Start & finish at the Maitland Gaol. ( Except Sunday run which finished at the HQ )

The concours Will be held in the Gaol and is a public event.

Bikes will remain in the Gaol ( which is quite secure ) overnight Saturday and a free bus will be provided to ferry participalts between local accomodation and the Gaol Saturday & Sunday.

Maitland is a major country town suitated on the new England Highway just north of the major city Newcastle

The BSAMCC of NSW inc is a participant in the NSW RTA’s conditional registration and by virtue of being the hosting club this is a authorised historic vehicle event .Please note that all bikes ridden on public roads in NSW must have some form of current registration appropriate to the home state of the participant. Bikes presented for the concours need not be registered but they must not be ridden on public streets. We strongly recommend that all participants have their bikes fully insured.
